In this guide, Aemen covers activities that can be suitable for the thrill seekers, the calm ones and even the budget friendly ones.
Kite Flying, Jumeirah Beach
I saw this collaboration between Salt & Brand Dubai recently and got inspired to fly a kite on my own. I don’t know how I’ve gone my whole life without flying a kite but there’s always a first and the weather presents the perfect opportunity to!
Watch The Drone Light Show
I’ve been seeing so many videos about this on TikTok and it’s definitely on my list. I’ve never seen a drone show being done in the night sky of Dubai. For more details, check out the below post. (Free of charge)
Kayaking at Downtown
Did someone say Kayaking next to Burj Khalifa? Now you can rent out a transparent Kayak (the ones you find in Maldives) for only 75 AED. They have a bunch of different types of water activities that you can try out to fit for all ages.
Grab a Coffee at Cafevilla515
Another aesthetic cafe located on Jumeirah road! This one is a great spot for coffee, to work in or to catch up with a friend. The pancakes on their feed are calling out to me 🤤
Feed a Giraffe @ Dubai Safari
Now this is an activity I’d always imagine doing in Africa (never thought they’d bring it to Dubai though). Dubai Safari lets you go on a real life Safari across their park to find all kinds of animals! You can’t leave the place without feeding a giraffe some carrots.
Ticket prices range for 50 AED per person and it’s a great family outing!
Visit Salt Campsite
Salt went big with their latest installation that features the theme ‘Camping season’ ⛺️ it’s literally camping goals!
Their food items even feature s’mores 🤤 Additionally, they’re creating a whole experience for visitors with attractions like a star gazing zone, merch store and workshops in collaboration with Nikon.
The campsite is located in DIFC (it’s so big, you definitely won’t miss it)
