Saudi Arabia’s MDLBeast To Host A 12-Hour Online Concert

We all remember how lit our Instagram feeds were when the inaugural MDLBeast concert happened last December. We spotted plenty of famous faces and saw quite a few of our favourite regional influencers bring their A-game to the festival with their next level outfits and swag.

Organizers announced on Monday that the electronic dance event will be making a return with a 12-hour virtual edition– MDLBeast Freqways – on June 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 7 a.m. (Saudi time) to end on the World Music Day.

With a stellar lineup of DJs including headliner Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Claptone, Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Laidback Luke, Phil Weeks, Benny Benassi, Dirty South and more. Also performing are regional talents such as K.Led & Majid, Vinyl Mode, and SPCBOI, Baloo, Cosmicat, and Jad X Tala.

“The music industry in the region is raw and the merging of neo culture and technology creates a new buzz, inspiring young musicians to create fresh, unexpected music,”

Ahmad Alammary, Chief Creative Officer, MDLBeast

Following the successful launch of MDLBeast’s inaugural annual event, where 400,000 people came together in Saudi Arabia over the span of three days, the festival has quickly established itself as a global creative platform setting the tone for music, art and culture in the Middle East.

Well, we can’t wait to see what our favourite DJs have prepared for us!
