It’s a new week, and we’re going to need a new round of movie suggestions to get us through it! Scroll for Woman’s Guide Middle East’s Netflix Movies picks:
Scent of a Woman
Yup, Scent of a Woman is now on Netflix. This 1992 American Drama has won the hearts of many (including us) since it came out – and as usual, Al Pacino gives a powerful performance you cannot resist in this one. We know for sure we’ll be leaving this movie pick reserved for a special night.
Identity Thief
Everyone wants to have a laugh sometimes, and the Woman’s Guide Team is no different. This film takes comedy to a whole other level as it tells a story about a man whose identity is stolen by a woman.
Snow White & The Huntsman (2012)
An updated take on the Snow White tale, this film finds the maiden battling the Evil Queen with skills learned from the huntsman sent to kill her. If you’ve missed this one at the movies (or if you simply want to give it another watch), you’d better get to it while it’s on Netflix!
The Holiday
One of the Woman’s Guide ME team’s favourites, The Holiday is our go-to film when we’re reminiscing about the holidays. This 2006 romantic comedy film stars Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black and Eli Wallach in a plot that follows two women with guy-problems who swap homes in each other’s countries, where they each meet a local guy and fall in love.
Contagion
If you ask the Woman’s Guide Team, there’s no time better than now to watch the Contagion. This film follows a group of medical experts who must race against time to stop an unknown virus that ignites a global pandemic. Yup, it’s quite relevant if you ask us.
