Sketch Art Cafe

If you’re into art and cafes, this gem located in Al Safa is the perfect place to spend your afternoon. They provide art supplies when you purchase a coffee and you can paint on the paper cup which is later displayed on their wall. That wall also happens to be a perfect place for an insta-worthy shot. Yes please!

Around The Block

For all the foodies out there who want to start their Friday morning with a not so basic breakfast, Around the Block is THE place to go. From Rose Ricotta Cake to Greek Eggs, they’ve got it all. You can even enjoy their offerings with their homemade bread and cookies.

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary

If you want to spend some time enjoying a breathtaking view of flamingos and other stunning birds in their natural habitat, drive down to the sanctuary for an unforgettable experience. Summer timings are 6:00 am-6:00 pm. It is just a few metres away from the bustling city of Dubai and this place will be loved by kids and adults because who doesn’t love nature?

Robo cafe

This cafe is guaranteed to blow your mind, as it is run entirely by a staff of robots. If you ask us, there’s no time better than now to get a taste of the future as we start depending more and more on tech. Check out Robo Cafe this weekend!


Friday Night at Cinema Akil

If you’re missing the cinema, Cinema Akil may just be your go-to plan this weekend. Friday night will mark the opening of La Grande Belleza, which according to sources is a “Dazzlingly ambitious, beautifully filmed, and thoroughly enthralling” experience. You’re sure to get teleported to Italy with this one!
